I haven’t read fantasy in years and I tore through this book (well relatively tore through considering it’s nearly 700 pages). The character of Ged moved me and I found myself gripped at various points by the plot and writing. It wasn’t perfect and a few parts of the 4th book especially felt a little clunky…but overall magic I will take with me.
