I liked this one more than the first. Mostly because I was more attached to the characters. But I think that this could easily be just one book. Max 2. Instead of 5.

Ahhhh, this is just as cute as the first book!! I loved the exploration of themes like coming out and discovering your sexuality in this novel!! Excited to read Volume 3!!

I don't normally leave reviews but I want to say that with Heartstopper, it's absolutely the kind of story that I wish I'd had as a high schooler. It's sweet and endearing, the plot is lighthearted while also tackling important themes like how hard coming out can be, homophobia, and the fact that there's a trans character? Like absolute perfection. I've heard so many great things about how Elle's character is handled and I'm so excited to read more. I'm really glad that trans women get such great rep in Heartstopper <3
