This isn't a book but rather a brief collection of mini-articles with pacing tips. It's nowhere nearly as in-depth as necessary to really bring value but it's a good starting point when you have a pacing problem and you need to diagnose where it's coming from.

This is one of my favorites in Rayne Hall's excellent series. I appreciated her information on when to slow down to give your characters (and the readers) time to emotionally process while giving insights into the mystery thread. ("Slow-paced sections are your story’s wells of emotion.") Also excellent points about internal dialogue, adjectives, adverbs, and memories slowing pacing...which is good in certain parts of the book and bad in others.

"Verbs define the pace of a section. For a fast-paced section, write each sentence so that the verb is the most vivid part.... Nouns are the most important words in slow-paced sections."

"If you write a fast-paced scene without a clear goal and story question, the section can feel rushed and without purpose."

Lots to work on after such a short read!
