Definitely very funny and clever but I felt bored at times. Also, this is more on me, but the book used tiny cursive which was sometimes hard to read

This was an odd graphic novel but I enjoyed it. It is about day to day life. Working, getting married, finding a future, pondering faith.

This was hilarious! It was hilarious all the way through, and so it caught me by delightful surprise when it was suddenly also heartfelt and raw. The cat tells the story, but he feels very much the same things as his rabbi master. Just in a perfectly cat-y way. The cat professes to love his mistress more, but it is the rabbi's emotional turmoil that he actually reflects and participates in. The character was incredibly well written. I absolutely believed a cat would be that full of sass, snot, and sarcasm. But he was also sweet and self sacrificing when it counted. Through this vulgar, rude animal, I gained a full appreciation for his master, and all the very real and human toils and troubles of the man. Very well done!

There is everything to love about this series.
Colourful, intelligent, cleverly amusing, real and human...things we often all forget to be these days.
