a really beautiful read, made my heart ache. i loved how the mystery weaved throughout but was never the main focus. this book was an evocative tribute to grief and the process of acceptance. 

unrelated but han manu reminded me so much of jude from a little life except this book wasnt 30 billion pages.

I had to get used to the writing at the beginning but once I got used to it, the book was enjoyable. The mystery, the characters, and the shifting perspectives were compelling. I could see myself reading it again.
