Insta love story between two members of a family hatred that compete in a mariachi competition. This one just had a lot of corny dialogue and lines. I also didn’t find the feud or the insta love believable. I think this had a lot of positives, but it wasn’t fleshed out enough.

THIS BOOK GOT ME HOOKED FROM THE FORST CHAPTER AND ITS BEEN HARD *hard* for me to get into books that fast. 

The fact that it’s like a retelling of Romeo and Juliet?! I was so in y marachis?! Girl sign me up. 

The flow this author had with Spanglish was 🤌🏼 so good it reminded me on how my friends and I communicate - the family love the siblings dynamic too good 

Hugo Montero has to grow up like so what’s if the girl of your dreams didn’t choose you 🙄 SIR MOVE ON 😡 

I can’t wait for Catalina story 😫😫😫 but anyways PLEASE READ THIS

Nearly DNF’d after the meet cute. Enjoyed the mariachi competition and the ensemble cast. But as a love story, especially a Romeo and Juliet retelling? Decidedly meh.
