Angela is currently my favourite Marvel character.
Marguerite Bennett is currently my favourite Marvel writer.
This is an excellent book.

Not the best thing to happen in Battleworld, but the fantastic setting makes it interesting.

I like the art, the setting and the humour, but the story was only ok-ish. Plus, like in Marvel 1601 they tried to put as many "disguised" characters in it as possible.
Not quite sure if I'll continue reading it.

The art in this book is incredible. I wasn't following the Marvel event until this book came out. Also, Shakespeare is in it.

A story about stories, and beautifully told. I read a digital copy and am so glad that I could fill my screen with the art. Make sure you're in the mood for a little breaking of the fourth wall; this is part of its charm.

I'm relatively new to Marvel (and entirely new to 1602) so had to look up some things to fully understand who was who and what was going on but it was great once I understood it a bit more! The art is amaaaazing.

4.5/5 stars

I really wasn't expecting that to be as sad as it was.

I didn't really enjoy the first issue of this; it was confusing, and sort of threw me into a story/world I was unfamiliar with. However, each issue has a summary of what's going on at the beginning, and once I understood what was going on I grew to love the story. The only reason this isn't a 5 stars is because of how confused I was, and the fact that this isn't any longer.

The art is beautiful. The plot is really imaginative and original, and I was more attached to the characters than I thought because the ending actually really upset me and my heart still hurts now. I also like that it crosses over with several other Marvel stories, and incorporates these modern heroes into an older time. Battleworld actually makes some sense to me now, too. Serah and Angela being a couple was also really nice, and their interactions were sweet, funny and, towards the end, really emotional.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, original comic series, with interesting characters and plot. Just be warned, the ending isn't what I would call a happy one, but I loved it regardless!
