4.5 touching as always. Backman may be one of my favorite authors. His stories are just so rich.

I've written multiple times that Backman has a remarkable talent for condensing big ideas into small stories. But this, the first novella of his I've read, is not just a small story in the content, but also in length, which only serves to concentrate the emotions it puts you through. And boy, does it put you through the wringer, considering I cried through the majority of the final 25 pages, which is a third of the entire story. Honestly, concentrated Backman needs to be regulated; it's a dangerous substance.

Jag är inte säker på om jag har läst den tillräckligt noga för att kunna uppskatta den till fullo, men det är definitivt en poetisk, melankolisk och vacker berättelse.
