This immersive collection of fables showcases a variety of storytelling styles, purposes, and artistic interpretations from a variety of Indigenous American storytellers. Brief biographies are listed in the back for reference.

I’d say this is a very solid collection of Native American trickster stories. The way many of them are written seems to emulate oral storytelling, which is fitting considering the material. This would be a very good introduction for someone interested in Native American folktales.

Were you ever curious about Native American tales, and what sorts of stories are told, then you should read this graphic novel. It has stories from all places about tricksters, and the things that happen to you, or them, should you run into them.
I love that this book made it easy to appreciate different types of stories as well as make the more welcoming to those who want to know more.
Find out what happened to Coyote, Crow, Trickster, and many others as you read these tales and learn from their lessons.

Graphic novels of multiple Trickster stories. Each one is told by a different storyteller and illustrated by different artists, covering many tribes and areas, including Hawaii.
