The creators clearly bring their experience in animation to this comic, considering the (for the most part) good character art, and the penchant for three panel structure, that's clearly rooted in storyboarding. Unfortunately, it's all pretty half-baked, stretched out unnecessarily, and feels more like a pitch for the animated movie, that they still can't seem to release.

THE CLOCKWORK GIRL was cute but a pretty simple story that stays mostly at the surface level.

Terrific illustrations and an easy to follow love story with a definite moral. Reminds me of the animated movie IGOR.

Gorgeous artwork makes this a 5 star for me. I want to make her costume and live in it. Adorable story too. Worth a read.

Extreme Book Nerd Challenge 2021 - Category #23
Challenge Topic: A book with a circus or carnival.

I found this book on the bookmark list the library provided. The synopsis sounded interesting so I picked it up.

I really enjoyed this book. It was very quick read but the atwork was beautiful and the story was kind of a romeo and juliet theme. In the end, the Clockwork Girl (Tesla) and the Wolfboy (Huxley) taught their "fathers" a very important lesson.

The art was good and the plot line okay if only rushed. Although I do not feel the urge to pick up another book by this author it was a decent read.

Love love love. First graphic novel in years and this was a precious way to rekindle the love. Classic futuristic Romeo and Juliet tale. Artwork was awesome
