The gay Top Gun fanfic we all needed.. although Top Gun the movie is already pretty gay imo! Saved this for a week when I was already planning to rewatch the Top Gun movies and it was a perfect accompaniment. Fun, sexy, and I get to picture a young Val Kilmer while reading? Call sign HELL YEAH. (Yeah, yeah, Panther has black hair... sure.)

I have always been interested in military books and men in the military but this just wasn't doing it for me. I did not like the main characters or their banter. I didn't feel the attraction between them no matter how much it was pushed in our faces how good looking the both of them were or why it would be a good idea for them to be together. I still don't know why they should be together. I believe that a romance book should explain, and explain it well, why 2 people should be together and this book didn't do that. Even with the cliff hanger at the end of the book, I still finding it hard to care.
Hopefully the bext book will be better but I don't have high hopes. Sorry if this soumds mean, I just really didn't ejoy the book.

Reading Panther and Solo’s story had completely consumed my life the past few days. I loved their story and the unique aspect of them being rival naval pilots at the same training school. I love reading military books especially MM where they are both in the military, but I’ve never read a book about naval pilots so this was interesting!
