True to expectations, this was an over-the-top comic, violent clash of characters, politics, and personal concerns. Brutally playing out the effects of political violence on the stage, McDonagh maintains the style he is known for - fast-paced, deadpan humor that manages to coexist with heavy issues and subject matter. In all, it's a hilarious, gruesome, finely-crafted story of politics and affections gone horribly wrong.
