I think this was the most disgusting book I've ever read. Yes, this may be "dark romance", but that does not make the things that happen okay. The relationship is very, very toxic and the "therapy" he puts her through is outright appalling. The biggest issue I have - his behavior is not at all addressed and the book ends with them being a happy couple (and them being portrayed as a healthy couple. Nothing was healthy about that).
Not no mention most of the plot is entirely unrealistic, but that's the smallest issue.
I'd suggest you don't read this book, but if you want to, please, please look at the trigger warnings closely and know that what happens is probably worse than what the warnings suggest, this is intense.
