As for now, I shall not star-rate this for I listened to the audiobook while being busy and frankly I could have been more attentive, but it started off well.
Deeper into the story it felt repetitive and somewhat boring. This story could have been much shorter and needed not to be as long as it is, or could have use some variation in the diary entries and findings (even if only psychological) of the main character.
All in all, it's a fun story, doesn't require much focus or analytical, brains work to be digested.

The inner workings into the mind of a deeply conflicted individual. And I am Referring not particularly to the Alonzo Typer.
Binging on a Lovecraft a day is not a recommended exercise. Because through virtue of repetition behind those hypnotic and Strangely Alluring words come across an unhealthy amounts of racist, antisemitic and Xenophobic Undertones.
But never let it be left unsaid. No one can create fear of the unknown and the dark better than Lovecraft.

Overbearing and not that impressive in terms of horror. However, the promise, setting and main character are satisfying enough to make an intriguing story.
