FUN, FUN, FUN
We love a book that satisfies the reader even when it's not their preferred genre.
This one is fast paced, well thought out and dynamic with elements of a dual timeline.
After Emma is assigned to protect a man wanted by the Russians, everything (predictably) goes to shit in the most electrifying way.
With high speed chases through the city and wading underground through London's hidden rivers, Emma and Michael are very quickly reminded of the city's reputation for being one of the most CCTV covered places on earth!
Whether this is your usual kind of read or something you turned to in need of a change of pace, I would highly recommend it.
It has the right amount of intrigue and suspicion to really keep you on your toes until the very end.
Although I found Michael to be insufferable at times, I think he was realistic which added that needed layer to the experience of the story.
