Entertaining second book. The romance felt really natural and sweet.

new characters, sans universe
This series is over of those that features a new duo while the over arching plot of the series stays the same. Here, we have sweet Angela and the monster (alien dogs starting with a S I won’t attempt to spell) trainer.
It’s sweet, often funny and moves the series plot right along.

Zero sexual tension, it felt like friends getting to know each other and then BAM! sexy times. It's more of a space, sci-fi story line with continuing plot than a real romance story imo. The ending is HFN (as it was for the first book in the series). No promise of remaining together forever.

I enjoyed this too!
Angela is fearless, I would run screaming with those beasts at my back!
I like that the books are all connected by the story of these kidnapped women... I can't wait to read what happens next!

I want a svenkar of my very own, even if they'd really, really take up the bed.

In this installment we get Treyjon and Angela. They've made it to Dethocoles and the woman are anxious to explore especially after the rough encounter on the ship that introduced Angela to svenkars. Turns out she's a natural trainer and when offered a tour of the city, Treyjon tests her svenkar training skills. The attraction is definitely there as we got a hint of it in the first book and an "undercover"-ish mission uncovers a plot that could endanger the planet Gaia as well as deepens the relationship between Treyjon and Angela. Another great installment by Ruby and highly anticipating the third book!
