Quick Summary: A black sheep romance

My Review: Bound by Their Nine-Month Scandal by Dani Collins is a Harlequin Presents read. It was published in 2019.

About the Book: A one night stand between an heiress and an illegitimate black sheep produces a baby. When a marriage of convenience follows the pregnancy announcement, both Pia and Angelo have to present a united front before their families and the world.

My Final Say: This was a fair to good read. Character interactions were a bit dry for my taste, but the couple's story was okay.

Rating: 2.5/5

I really enjoyed this story! Pia and Angelo are such complex personalities. Pia's intellect and shyness make for a unique and intriguing character. It was fascinating to watch how those qualities influenced both the plot and Angelo himself. A great read!

(I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of this story which did not influence my review in any manner.)

Liked the H and the h.
Their families are really crappy tho.
The H’s backstory is horrendous. His father is a POS for what he did to his mother. Seriously. An effing POS. And his half brothers are total buttholes. They are nobility and think themselves better than everyone else. The H had every right to feel they way he did about them.

The h’s family are a bunch of uncaring cold fish. Well, her parents. The author redeemed her siblings, buuut they were not there for her so eff them!

Hot chemistry between the H and h. He knocked her up on the first try. ;D

I loved the quirkiness of the H. The author did a wonderful job writing her. She could’ve been easy to dislike, but she was wonderfully written and you easily empathize with her.

All in all, a really interesting read. There were even seals on a beach on a rainy day. Absolutely sweet.

Good read. May read again
