There was maybe like 3 problematic examples in this book that had me like 👀👀👀 but I think it’s just a product of 2019. I really enjoyed this, I felt like I learned a lot and it was nice to take a stroll down a witchly memory lane.

This was part memoir, part (mostly pop culture) witchy history. It’s a pretty basic overview of the various topics and I didn’t find myself learning much of anything new. I would have liked it to either focus on the memoir aspects or the history aspects more.

First off, I absolutely love Pam's witch wave podcast. I guess I was expecting to really love this book too, but it just didn't do it for me. While it was rich in history and culture, it seemed like she was just rambling on and on and didn't have anything direct other than all of her political views (which I do side with) I just felt like it wasn't what I was expecting.

A varied and personalized history of the image and icon of the witch, both lived and viewed. Deeply researched and accessibly written with a kind tone.
