Like reading fanfiction... Too smooth and polished for me... Not one word wasted to convey Action or Description

Gripping short story, looking forward to reading the prequel and sequel! Loved the lgbt representation too

I liked the premise more than the execution. The U.S. government proposing the import of hippos for farming is definitely a case where truth is stranger than fiction, so now I need to go read American Hippopotamus for the historical background of this scheme.
