Enjoyable "cumulative tale" (a la "The house that Jack built) with a May Day theme. I like how everyone ends up kissing each other and then celebrating May with flowers and dancing. I agree with another reviewer that the wording is a little clunky at times - felt I had to read it slowly to my preschooler so she could follow what was happening. Still, overall a fun seasonal read.
