It's what the Star Wars Adventures books always are: very short, inconsequential stories, this time covering the full range of eras, from High Republic through Rise of Skywalker. I was disappointed that the original trilogy story is nothing more than a retelling of the Imperial invasion of the Hoth base.

Sometimes I enjoy SW Adventures books and sometimes I don't, and I don't know if the quality of the books varies or if it depends entirely on my mood when I read them. This one didn't interest me much.

The stories in this anthology vary widely in quality (I hated the Kylo Ren story, and the Rey one) but the real criticism here is these are reportedly all-ages stories and I just don't see the stories or characters being interesting to kids (other than maybe some man-babies). These stories also lack the quality I am accustomed to in earlier Star Wars Adventures stories, both in terms of the storytelling and the art.

There are a couple of cute stories in this but most of it is nonsensical filler. It feels dashed off and the art is nothing special

This fresh volume kicked off with a great collection of stories. I particularly loved issue #4, which features a Val/Becket story and an Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon story.
