Really enjoying this series but lost momentum and just not in the mood. Hope to pick it back up at some point

It would have been worth it for the perspective alone. It is incredible how the story is experienced through Sunny. Over the course of three books, she became ever more vibrant and real to me. The story of Anyanwu is beautiful and contains many lessons.

Awards go to…

Chichi: Best supporting character – It’s so refreshing for a princess to not be the main character

Sasha: Best friendship with Sunny – So warm and real

Orlu: Best love interest for Sunny – Pure wholesomeness
