This was a cute cozy mystery. I liked the French cooking themes and Julia Child, as always, brought some warmth and humor to the story. I would probably pick up more books in this series even if they didn't really break any new ground.

I love the cover of the book the way it copies Julia’s cookbook. And the food in the book sounds delicious. It was a good cozy mystery for a fast read

Writing was intolerably juvenile, many things were so obvious and were written as if the readers can’t deduce for themselves to the point of being insulting. It also has some of the tropes I detest: “I aM nOt LiKe oThER gIrlzzzz” and an attitude of unconditional worship of capitalism. Pass. Giving it one star for the cat and dog.

A sweet cozy maybe trying a little too hard to hit the cozy notes à la Christie, Chesterton & Doyle. The imagery of the city was well done - felt like I got all the senses of being in each of the buildings with the descriptions. I enjoyed Grand-père and Oncle Rafe and hope to see more of them.

Felt the ending was a bit weak but a cute book overall!
