It was a short but sad and tense book to read but is suitable for children I must say

Another brilliant exploration of grief by Jacqueline Wilson. Perhaps targeted at a younger audience than Vicky Angel. I remember being slightly shocked by it when I was younger but how the story plays out and the characters change and accept things is really good.

A sweet story. I do often wonder how disturbing you could make this premise if you aimed it at older children. A girl mummifying her cat could be much more horrific than thise.
