A classic Lisa Jackson page-turner, maintaining the storyline of Detectives Bentz and Montoya. Fantastic blend of religion, complicated family ties and psychosis. And I always love a thriller where the bad guy isn't revealed until the last few pages... I had a few theories as I read, but was wrong on all of them. Just started "Lost Souls", and looking forward to the continuation of the series.

Didn't finish this book - too much wringing of hands and mental circular thinking to be interesting. I guess it was meant to show the distress and nerves of the characters but quickly became annoying.
