Having just finished this book, I have to plug my hometown! Ms. Flowers made it sound like Valentine, TX had the first Valentine re-mailing program and that all the other programs began to emulate it in the last 30 years. Sorry, but no. Loveland, CO's re-mailing program is entering its 72nd year in 2018! Over 200.000 cards from all over the world are processed here each year. Volunteers remove the outer envelope, check the inner envelope for postage and then hand stamp each and every one with Loveland's special Valentine Cachet, a unique stamp that changes every year.

This is the Valentine Cachet from 2017. Our little cowboy Cupid is called Dan Cupid, haha.

The post office history in this book was interesting, but I felt that this mystery was the weakest one in the series so far.
