Delightful! Maybe I'm just easily impressed by how quickly a puzzle can be laid out and solved in short stories, but I really enjoyed this collection.

Solid piece of nostalgia reading for me as I read a lot of Allingham in my teens. Campion tends to be lucky rather than a clever as a detactive - always in the right place at the right time and knowing the right people - making these stories charming, but perhaps not very interesting as puzzles.

Enjoyable but I like her novels better than her short stories.

Not a big fan of short stories but I love the Albert Campion mysteries so it all works out. Most were published in the 1940's in various magazines. Like all short stories, some are stronger than others but on the whole a solid collection of mysteries.
