Stuntmen are always interesting to hear about, and Adam Campbell is no exception. Coming home to his family of 4 brothers after a terrible accident has Adam reevaluating his life. With the death of his best friend in the same stunt that caused his injuries, Adam has to come to terms with "getting back on the horse". Bailey Farrell is Adam's high school girlfriend, who is now at his family ranch learning to stunt ride. Will their chemistry reignite? Bailey may be the only medicine that can cure Adam. Ashley has written a family of strong, funny but loving men, each with a different personality but each also having each other's back. Getting to know them will make you smile with the banter and love their bond to bring out the best in Adam. Bailey is a good strong female character with her own flaws, but we get to see her blossom as well with the help of the Campbells. Getting to know the rest of the family will be a pleasure in the rest of the series.

Eric G Dove narrates this story. I love his soft spoken performances, he has a slight drawl and gives each character a distinguishing voice. He always gives a comfortable narration making each story enjoyable.

Got this one for free, but ended up DNF at about 15% in. Far too much telling, and a few too many stereotypical gendered comments, to make it worth reading further.

I love how this book didnt start with drama and turning around what the characters really want. It was a quick read and I enjoyed it.

*SPOILERS*

Adam comes from a family of stunt riders and horse trainers. After a horrible accident which took the life of his friend Dawson, Adam comes to the Circle C. Ranch to recover. Adam has PTSD and a scarred body. Bailey, who works for Adam's mother and the Circle C. Ranch, is Adam's old flame. This story is about how Adam overcomes trauma with the help of Bailey. There wasn't a lot going on other than the expected. Rekindled relationship, a bit of sex and a happy ending. It was ok.

Adam was a sweet second chance romance in Jennifer Ashley’s, Riding Hard series.

It’s a fast read, with plenty of alphas, horses, and strong women. I enjoyed meeting the Campbell family, each brother is unique. I loved the strong family bonds portrayed and the loyalty they have for one another. I also had a fun with the family and their business of being trick riders. Adam was yummy and Bailey was perfect for him. The romance is sweet and you can see they still have chemistry even after all these years.

Adam was an enjoyable feel good romance. I had a delightful time reading.

I don't love Westerns. They're either fantastic or a bit boring for me.

I just didn't feel the pull to read this. I think thats why it took me so long to read this.

An ok read.
Nothing I got super excited about and nothing that really nagged me. Simply an enjoyable way to while away some time.

Adam was hurt on the job which left him scarred, and back home where his old flame Bailey is and their spark ignites again.

Bailey is confused by the men in her life, Kyle and Adam she knows she has to choose but Kyle isn’t having her answer at all oh no he isn’t.

I loved how Bailey helped Adam overcome some of his fears from his accident. It was unique and sweet.

Overall a good book. I love love, Eric G. Dove’s voice he always makes me enjoy the listening experience.
