Well I probably being bias here but I found this the best book out of all the lonely planet books that I have used. I used this a lot while travelling and working in NZ.

Brilliant guide book- I now have a really clear idea of where I'd like to go here. Can't attest to the accuracy of the maps (a problem I've had with LP maps in some countries), but I don't think directions are going to be a problem. :D
