This one was a pleasant surprise - Evie had some refreshing growth, and apologized for her crap. And legitimately tried hard to battle her worst tendencies. It was great to see, and made this book much more enjoyable.

My only quibble is that the book was super fast - we ran through 3-4 major plot arcs in this book, and that made them all feel fast and easy. They could have used more time, so there was more weight and tension. It kind of feels like the HFE wrap up should have been in a 3rd book - the revelations about who all was involved, building the paranormal coalition, taking down all the labs ... this all happened in like the last 18% of the book. It was really, really fast, which was a little disappointing for something that's been a looming Big Bad throughout not just this spin-off series, but Danica/Samael's series as well.

But I enjoyed it. Looking forward to wrapping up with Kyra's book.

Nice, quick read. But I enjoyed the Deals with Demon series a little better

Great

I loved reading the finale of Evie’s story, and I can’t wait to see what Kyla’s story brings and how it wraps up the whole series!!!

This has got to be the most emotional, irrational read and the most romantic story...ever.
The characters come alive and jump out at you.
Give him a chance.
Trust him.
But sometimes we don't see the forest for the trees. Finally Evie can push past the heartbreak that has followed her for most of her life.
A male stands before her his heart on his sleeve. The power this male possesses is solely for one purpose............. His mate

I absolutely loved Nathaniel and Evie's story. I cannot adequately profess how brilliant their story was or even put into words the deep impact it had on me!!!
