I liked it. This was a good start to a new Avenger series that had a whole lot going on.

Not a fan of comic books but it was part of a reading challenge.

time travel always confuses me, so i spent most of my time reading this, really confused. but after years of watching Doctor Who, i've learned to just roll with it.

It started out great, then was very clunky and confusing, then became exciting at the very end.

Not nearly the level of angst of the Civil War era. The characters here are heroic, happy go lucky, and work well together as a team. The bad guys don't get much badder than here: Kang and Ultron and so on. The time travel story was quite good and not so complicated to make your head hurt. I'm curious about seeing the seeds planted here growing in future issues. All in all a good read. On the art, I'm not a big fan of JR Jr. His figures always seem stiff to me and the shading and cross hatching seems more like a sketch than finished art.

BUCKYCAP. I was very emotional the entire time I won't lie.

I enjoyed this so very much.

Now, I'll say that (to use fanfic terms) there was a bit of hand-waving. And the plot is not for the faint of heart (he BROKE the timeline! the Avengers must fix it!). I laughed like a mad woman and squealed with a twihard at the Breaking Dawn premiere. Not that it didn't have serious moments as well (Tony has an almost heartbreaking moment which was amazing).

Decent story with amazing art. The Thor vs Galactus page is jaw dropping. I found this to be far better than previous Bendis Avengers books. There are many seeds planted for future stories. I am very interested in the upcoming Ultron War.

I can handle preposterous, convoluted plots--to a point. There only seemed to be excuses for nonstop, über-destructive battle, occasionally pausing for further convolution and attempts at emotion. I couldn't finish it.
