Continuing where Cirque Du Freak left off, The Vampire's Assistant is a great sequel.

At first I was quite reluctant to take up this series again, but now I'm glad I plowed through anyway.

While not as scary as it was when I first read the books thirteen years ago, this series just seems to click in an entirely different way now.
I LOVE IT!

My favorite character is (as always) Evra Von, the snakeboy, with Mr Tall as a close second (his snarky humor just makes me ROFL :p)

I honestly can't wait to read the third book now despite my misgivings at the start of this one :D
