Dread Wood has very quickly become one of my favourites middle grade series, so I was delighted to discover it has a World Book Day book. For anyone not based in the UK or Ireland, these are short books for children, published in the run up to World Book Day each year and available ultra cheap (£1) or else free with WBD book tokens which are given away in schools and a variety of other places.  The books are written by established children's authors and cover a range of ages.

As a short novella, unsurprisingly Creepy Creations doesn't have quite as much depth as the other books in the Dread Wood series but it is a fun, sometimes creepy read which i really enjoyed. I liked that for possibly the first time we saw more than one type of creature per book.

Definitely well worth the £1!
