While not as good as Rocket Boys, this charming sequel was fun and easy read and gave more insight into the residents of Coalwood, WV.

I like the way he writes. He keeps it simple but paints a great picture of life in Coalwood. He develops his characters well because he knew and liked them. Can't wait to read more!

This memoir covers a lot of the same ground as October Sky but lets the reader in on Homer's personal and home life.
