Easy read but I felt that the initial story line should have been explored further.
SPOILER
The chase and exploration of Luke and his charges was great however the trial felt rushed and the outcome disappointing. I half expected the whole thing to be a set up or for "someone" to follow Savannah to Charleston but no. There was little excitement and the plot was very meh in my opinion.

This is the first Danielle Steel book I've read, and it was FABULOUS. I knocked it out in 2 days, it was very hard to put down. Beautifully written, and perfectly balanced between the harsh reality of a New York courtroom and the emotional reality of facing your old ghosts in a place you use to love.

Lemme see...

1. Too much drama.
2. Ball-less guy.
3. Soft guys.
4. Too much drama.
5. Useless, unnecessary details.
6. Too much drama.
7. Spineless guy.
8. A bit far-reaching.
9. Too little of everything else.
10. Did I mention too much drama.

That's about it.
