Impressively carried out story and art with Doom as focus
Marvel likes to do these microcosm mashups and odd timelines, throwing things on their heads, see Age of Apocalypse, Age of X, House of M, etc. This impressive cross-over collection by Hickman has Dr. Doom assuming the mantle of power from the Beyonders and shaping a new planet and reality as its god emperor. I've been going through my OHC collections I have had on the shelf unread for many years (Age of Ultron, Axis) and this has so far been the best one. I also liked that the art was done by a single person through the whole set and it was art that resonated with me compared to some of the others in the prior mentioned series. Overall, a very recommended read! (j4.)

I really enjoyed this comic. It was quite different to all of the other comics I've read but I really enjoyed the alternative universe/multiverse aspect of this and how the story played out.

beautiful art. spidey is hilariously annoying. i found the "files" a little too much. I wish there was more story and less of the interrogations, though some of them were funny.

i liked the intro, though, from someone who has fought their own secret wars.

Nice setup with some lesser known Marvel heroes fighting in a secret mission. I liked the theme, but didn't like the art very much and wasn't very thrilled about the way the story developed.
