Pretty good. There was a ridiculous deus ex machina at the end, which may have made sense in the context of the game but didn't in the book. At all. However, if you are willing to ignore that bit along with the forced inclusion of the STARS members at the beginning and end, it was a pretty good story. Thankfully, the puzzle solving was seriously downplayed.

I enjoyed meeting Claire and Leon on this installment. I wasn't as taken with Ada, but I can see where I could grow to like her more with some more truth from her. I really enjoyed seeing Irons get his, finally. I was a little lacking in understanding this deep psychosis all the human villains seemed to have - that everyone was an Umbrella operative there to get them. Really strange. I would have also preferred a bit more story on the William and Annette situation, and exactly how much did Sherry know but not let on?

I love this series, but I am mind boggled every time I read this specific book simply because I cannot conceptualize the layout of the sewer/underground lab system for the life of me

Bias against resident evil and all things zombies aside, Perry does a good job with perspective, suspense, and characterization.

I had no clue that Resident Evil was a book series too! The book was almost identical to the storyline and gameplay seen. These would be a novelization of the games or the games were made based off these novels. Either way it was fun to revisit some of my favorite videogame characters within the story.

I really enjoyed the book but there was one spelling mistake in it, which was one minor thing.
