This story was better than I was expecting honestly! I like cyborg from what I know about him as a character so on a base level I found it interesting. I picked it up for like 5 bucks just to see what it was like, some of the dialogue is pretty boring and it feels like a slog at times. A few of the characters are also kind of annoying and unlikable but it’s not horrible.

Felt like a War Machine book to me. To many artists hands involved too, pretty generic.

Not really sure what to make of this. It was okay, not bad but not good. A little too much techno babble but then again not enough to make it geeky fun. The art was very uneven, much like the story. Starting out a new series with the multiverse probably is not a good idea either.

It's a very good comic, but...I don't think anything will ever make me care about Cyborg.

I like Vic a lot - he's an extremely likable character and he's easy to root for. The main reason I didn't love this collection is that I'm not really a fan of tech-y, science books. I think people who enjoy that kind of story could really enjoy this comic. I'd definitely read team-up comics with Vic in them after reading this!

Received from Edelweiss.

A great edition and finally some worthy writing for a terrific character.

Well, I liked it. There was an odd balance between the Metal Men and Cyborg that I'm not a fan of. Given this is his first real solo series, I think it would have been stronger if he had been in the spotlight a little bit more. I also knocked off a star for the completely random and unnecessary romance between Vic and a character who's only there for a few issues. It felt random and pointless. But I'll keep reading the series overall. I loved the nod to his catch phrase towards the end.
