A running memoir that isn't just about running. In fact, the main point is that exercise alone cannot rid you of your mental ill health but it can increase your mental fitness. So funny too!

It's a brilliant and inspiring book. And I really love the way she describes mental health. It's a bit weird reading it now because it feels a bit dated in a way and what with everything that happened with Prince Harry as well I feel like the UK could probably use another mental health initiative. But Bryony sounds like an absolutely top human, amazing mum, brilliant person all around and it was a delight to read her story.

I picked this book up at random from a little free library in my neighborhood and I was enticed from the start. This was a very easy read and it was fun. The transcript of her interview with Prince Harry was actually the dullest part of the book because it didn't have Mrs. Gordon's voice. I felt so happy as she described herself running the marathon. I actually started running this week while reading the book. I have severe anxiety and am excited to see if running will help. I am grateful to whoever left this book for me to pick up. Who knew a book could make you want to exercise?

Well, blow me down, I loved this. Listened almost constantly over a couple of days.

I love and admire her honesty about her highs and significant lows. Some shameless Prince Harry name dropping but entirely deserved and appropriate - just adds to the importance of her message about "It's ok not to be ok". Her achievement both with her marathon training and her Mental Health Mates Groups is inspirational.

Go on Bryony, you did it and you can do it again.
