Neil Gaiman: What if this 1602 version of Peter Parker - let's call him Peter Parquah - focused on his immense scientific curiosity, and gives him a bit of spy training from Nick Fury, a love interest who's a new character, and have him develop a distant antagonist in the form of THE KING OF ENGLAND?

Jeff Parker: Our Peter shoots webs, and someone says a line to him that includes both "great power" and "great responsibility". Fully realized character, pass out the cigars and whiskey.

The art is good, although every time a character looks at someone, it's drawn as if they got momentarily distracted by a fly buzzing six inches to the right of that person's head.
