Really well done! Captivating story, the artwork really suits it. Sparse dialogue is just enough to still make you feel for the characters and want them to succeed. Events are shown very well through the art.

It's been a blast to watch Matt Battaglia develop as a writer and artist. House on Fire is one of his strongest efforts to date and definitely worth picking up!

I absolutely graphic novels (such as this one) that make me experience a range of emotions in a small amount of time. The art is beautiful and the contrast between the sharp-orange and the black adds to the protagonist's despair.

I only wish that the dystopian world and the "orange zone" was explored further, maybe through a few additional pages.

In the near future, a virus threatens humankind. MC’s wife is sick, and he needs to get out of the house and expose himself to help her.

House on Fire is a short dystopian graphic novel with a simple plot. The art is great. The illustrator used only two colors: black and orange (with some space left in white).

Thanks to Living The Line for the ARC and this opportunity! This is a voluntary review, and all opinions are my own. This graphic novel will be available in March 2023.

A emotional tale of a couple's struggle with a disease during a citywide lockdown. The artwork is two tone and conveys a lot through the brushstrokes. The story is short and packs a punch. What would you be prepared to do for a loved one?

A netgalley ARC for an honest review.
