I greatly enjoyed reading and appreciating the beautiful art of Rosemary Mosco's "Birding is My Favorite Video Game." I have been familiar with Mosco's art for a few years now, and was delighted to see that she was collecting some of her colorful, cute, and informative comics into a book. I pride myself on a love for nature and animals and still found myself learning new things. The effort and knowledge that went into this book accumulates in a lengthy index in which Mosco alphabetizes every single creature featured in her book: there are a lot!
The comics are quick to read and a perfect gift for nature-lovers, adult or child, and I look forward to more work that Mosco publishes in the future.

Charming, delightful, hilarious.
Episodic, one page (sometimes one panel) comics about birds, animals, plants, etc. Some of them made me laugh out loud. Full color. Bold lines. Accurate science except when it's obviously not.
Although maybe pitched at a knowing adult, I seriously considered taking this out to local middle schools.

Rosemary Mosco is a gem of a human being and her cartons are funny, informative, and impactful for spreading important messages relating to climate change and wildlife conservation. Bird and Moon is definitely a worthwhile follow, you won’t regret it.
This book contains so many great cartoons, you pick a new favorite every few pages.

So fun!!! This only took me 30min or so to flip through but I learned way more than I thought it would. Such a cute way to learn more about our natural world!

Informative and fun. Negative is that the print is sometimes really tiny, tough to read.
