What a way to start out the New Year! Like the earlier books in the series, this volume absolutely blew me away. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Especially loved the Chishiya side story.
Pick up this series if you:
- want to be sucked into an immersive world
- enjoy dystopian reads
- want something action-packed

Again with the side stories. It felt like the side stories took up more of the book than the main story (even though I know that is not the case). I am hoping that the characters in these side stories eventually show up in the main story, so there is some sort of connection to them. Otherwise, they just feel like fillers, despite some featuring the main cast.

I’d risk it all for kuina, she is the loml
I really like how the message of the series is crystal-clear in the manga (in the show, it wasn’t obvious until the end). the little reminders in the breaks where aso is speaking as himself are a nice addition as well.
