This is a really good story. It keep me guessing all the way until the end, as to who the killer. And the setting is pretty cool as well. 1918 in the a small (fictional) town in the state of Georgia.

6th December 1918, Georgia, and sixteen year old Emmie McAllister and Dessa Child are both home from school. Soon they discover the body of the leader of the suffragettes movement in the town. Emmie's Uncle Charlie, the sheriff, involves them in the investigation by asking questions.
An interesting well-written mystery.

Received for free in exchange for an honest review.

This is a well written cosy type of mystery with strong, well defined characters. None of them get caught up in their woes or triumphs. The plot, the reveal, and the setting are all well done.

I look forward to seeing if the author writes a sequel!

A definite recommended reading.
