I found this series on sale on Comixology. This one struck out from the rest. The story, the setting, the theme, everything about it seemed very interesting and unique. The story takes place in Tibet and the characters are set up right from the start. The story moves a little slowly and if you dont pay attention you might get confused in the middle. It starts picking up at the end. The art is gorgeous. It is similar to the Franco-Belgian aesthetics of small and large square and rectangular panels that make full use of the page to express the story. The colors are not eye popping and instead very warm and rusty to denote a time period and also show the emotion of tranquility. Lovely book and i hope the rest of the books in the series keep me interested as this one had.
