A collection of bizarre modern Russian fairy tales. I'm not sure what to think of them. Did I like them? Most of them felt like nightmares or dreams. More to be gawked at than liked I think.

Global Read Challenge 99: Russia

This is a genre I love, and I was very disappointed in it. These were like the stories you might tell as an 11 year old at a sleepover "turns out she was dead the whole time." The twists were all the same and all tacked on. Hygiene was the only one that really stuck with me (probably because of the current global situation).

A delectable collection of short horror stories incorporating elements of black humour and fantastical elements. The ghosts inhabiting these stories are all around us, look closely and they just might be lurking inside your own house.
