Not bad. Got for free so didn’t really see what it was about and I was definitely surprised. Not a huge fan of smut but had just enough substance to have me finish it. I found the smut hilarious honestly
An okay quick read however it seemed very fast paced and nothing big really happens. I wish there was just more development throughout and it would have been really good. Bullying lasted a couple days and then everyone is suddenly together and in love. She never considered her friends feelings then they stopped talking to her, duh. Everything seemed to go so smoothly I wish there was a twist or surprise, which maybe the end was supposed to be but clearly saw it coming. I was just hoping for a little more.

honestly at first, I read about 45 pages & didn’t get interested, but then tried again & holy cow i’m so glad I did!! these four boys made me swoon in so many ways & I loved that Briar even being a sexual assault victim stood up for everything & I think it’s a super positive example for women who are victims of sexual assault. I loved her fire & her confidence & that the boys only wanted to amplify that & make her stronger knowing she could do it without them but that she didn’t have to do it without them.

Damn, this book was crazy good! I honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to like or not in the beginning, but I ended up really enjoying the plot. The guys definitely seemed like complete jerks in the beginning of this book, but wow they definitely redeemed themselves. I really like Briar because she doesn’t take crap from anyone and that girl has gone through hell and is still staying strong.
This isn’t really your typical enemies to lovers book, it’s just a lot different from others I’ve read and I really liked that. I won’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything.
Now the reason I only gave this 4 stars is because I felt that there wasn’t much relationship building in this book and that was a bit frustrating for me. Even though there’s that, I still really liked this dark romance story!
