This is a TRUE enemies to lovers and I’m eating it up!!

The MMC is an absolute jerk and I’m loving every second of it. The storyline is engaging and the action is packin.

Jumping right into the second book now!

So many tropes, so little time.
The beginning started out wonderfully. It grabbed my attention, the premise was interesting, the slow-burn romance was beautiful. This book had SO. MUCH. POTENTIAL.
I still really enjoyed the whole enemies-to-lovers romance, I thought that part was done pretty well- it was the 85 plot holes and lack of a thought-out plot that disappointed me. The premise, again, very fun. Overall, if you can pretty much turn off your critical thinking for a couple hours, it's a pretty fun ride, despite every fantasy trope you can fit into a book. I'll probably be reading the sequel.

I went into yhis book, 1) completely blind, and, 2) not expecting much.
But I absolutely loved it.
The writing was fantastic. The storyline was compelling and I cannot wait to dive into the next book in the series. The author kept it interesting by adding high risks and some thriller-like twists and turns in the story; I loved it.
The characters were all very well thought out and I enjoyed reading about them. I also cannot wait to learn more about them, because I have a feeling this was just the tip of the iceberg.

I'm bored, and the love interest and his misogyny are giving me a headache.
