second chance romance between high school sweethearts

Their story is so sweet. Ty and Ivy have only ever loved each other and their chemistry is undeniable.

I was on the edge of my seat at the end of the book and did not see that coming at all!!!

Quick Summary: A first love to second chance romance

My Review: Claimed by Laura Pavlov was the fifth and final book in the Willow Springs series. What made this book so special was that it featured the relationship between Ivy and Ty. These two loved each other since high school. They endured so much to be together. In the end, their love helped them to overcome all.

My Favorite Scenes: The Milkshake Reunion, Dealing with the DJ, The Waiting Room Jump, and The Proposal

Other: I loved that the author provided an epilogue plus one more. I was not expecting that. It was a satisfying end...and a beautiful beginning.

This is the book that I was waiting for in this series... and it was frankly kind of a let down. I didn't really understand the new dynamic between Ivy and Ty, nor did it feel plausible. I was hoping that some hardcore groveling was going to take place, and was sorely disappointed that was not the case. I'm also just really not a country girl, so having Ty be a country star was kind of a deterrent for me. I would have enjoyed it way more if he was a straight up rock star.

I still enjoyed parts of the book, and love the strong female relationships that have been threaded through each book in the series. Overall, I'm glad I stuck with it. And if you love small town romance, this is a great choice.
