This was such a fun and easy book to read!

The characters and setting are well detailed with all of different characters lighting up the plot.

This is book two in the Asheville Brewing series, however Adalia and Finn can be read as a stand alone.

This author duo does an amazing job of writing Addy and Finn as a couple while giving pieces of Georgie and River’s story (book 1) and they pull in the two remaining siblings - Jack and Lee...tantalizing us with what’s to come in this series.

While I say “easy to read” I do not in any way mean “fluff”. Better Luck Next Time has a wonderful and detailed plot centering around Addy’s search for her place in the sibling business and Finn’s struggle to be who he wants vs what others want him to be. The plot is carried along by chatty and witty dialogue as well as building in more characters from the town. By the end of the book, the story arc was nicely and strongly wrapped, but we have a new bunch of townies to look forward to in the rest of the series.

Addy is described as the flighty sibling of the group. The four siblings were recently left Asheville Brewing by their grandfather, however the Brewery comes with strings. The siblings are to make a profit and place at the Brewfest in order to keep the brewery. If they fail to do so, the brewery goes to River.

River is Finn’s former brew master and Georgie’s boyfriend. (Got that?)

Now, Georgia, Lee, and Addy thought that they were it for their father’s offspring. They found out at Grandpa Beau’s will reading that there is a fourth sibling. Jack. (Still with me?)

The final two constant characters that round out the motley crew are Dottie, who is River’s great aunt and Beau’s girlfriend (all of that) and Finn.

Finn is an outsider who moved to town, created a very successful brewery with River....and then sold it to a large corporation. Prior to discussing it with River. Then, Finn did something and broke up River and Georgie. You’ll need to read Georgie and River’s book for THAT story.

This, IMO, is better than the previous book in the series. If you've read the first one, then you'd know how Finn is. But in this one, he's better! He basically changed from a playboy to a one woman lover. Adalia pretty much brought him to his knees. Their relationship started out real slow though but once they got together, they just move on full swing.

Overall, give this book and this series a read. It's worth your time. And I need to know what happens to Jack and Hope so I can't wait for their story.

Love love LOVED this book!!!!

DGS and A.R. Casella did it again and hit a home run with this book!!!! I adored Adalia in book 1 and I'm so glad she got her own book! Adalia is SO sassy and I love her! I admit I wasn't a huge fan of Finn in book 1, but these authors did a great job writing his character and growing him so we, the reader, really got to understand him and root for him. Once again this was written in such a wonderful way I just want to drive down to the brewery and hang out with everyone!

Even more excited for this series and to see where these wonderful writers take it!

I was given this arc in exchange for an honest review. It was a really cute book. I had a hard time getting into it at first and I think that is purely because I haven’t read the first book! If I had I think I would have be drawn in and connected quicker. This had fade to black scenes, which I don’t mind, but even though they had cute chemistry, it wasn’t as pulling as I usually like. I was drawn in, I did enjoy the story and I am keen to see what happens with future characters!
